Metalflake 74 VW
 

This arrived last night. 1974 VW freak metal flake paint job. The car was built last year, Christian is a painter from Ohio, this was his covid project. I want to change a couple of little things, but when I saw this paint I fell in love with it.
Love or hate it, the paint is incredible.

PS: there are several shifter options for VW!!

The paint is bad ass! That front white wall is bothering me.

The whitewalls will be gone shortly and I also have a EMPI trigger shifter for it

The whitewalls and the front wheel offset needs to be deep sixed, but I got no problem with the paint at all. But then, I'm a fan of Larry Watson, so, I'm not often shocked by outlandish paint schemes.

Here is a better side shot of it, without the whitewalls. It is actually a 1974 Super Beetle.

I have been told you can buy a birth certificate from VW with the same info as Canadian VVS docs.

I hear ya, the paint and application are spectacular. I love the old large flake paint jobs and graphics, just too many "test" panels for me to really get into it.

I am on it Ryan, I pulled the stock shifter already and put the trigger EMPI in it. I like this SCAT better. I should have one in no time at all.

I knew this shifter would be on your wish list!!!

For those of you that know me.....know that I came to the US from Europe....and as a little boy’...I knew how to play Soccer very well and knew a lot about VW’s.

Today I made a visit the Day2 Speed Shop....this Psychedelic VW Super Bug is simply amazing.....the paint and the Workmanship is spectacular.....the pictures do not do it justice. Dan is going to have a Fun Summer with this Special and Unique VW. She has a great home with Dan :)
