Buick GSX in Sweden
 

A guy over here has a fine collection of Buicks, the two in this picture is part of his collection.

1971 GSX 455 and a 1970 GSX 455, both in excellent condition. The '71 was sold new in Sweden. Pretty Cool.

Yes, this guy will cover the whole Buick chapter himself, he also has a '69 GS Stage 1 and a very rare 70 GS 'Vert 455 Stage 1.

I haven't seen it yet but I believe it is red. I will look at it after next weekend.

The green 71 is a one of a kind. It is supposed to be the only '71 GSX with vinylroof, some talk about another one with black vinyl but that one is not verified.

About 20 years ago, in Guide to Musclecars magazine, they featured an original owner (a lady, no less!) Platinum '71 GSX. It had those Super Sport wheels (I think that's what they were called?), Stage 1, and a vinyl top. At the time, it was claimed it was the only one with a top.

If you go to http://www.buickgsx.net, you can view the registry statistics. Unfortunately, none of the cars in the registry have a vinyl top or it just hasn't been recorded since I didn't notice any seat configuration stats either.

I was at the Buickguy yesterday and saw the 70 'vert. Now it is red but the originalpaint is the same lime green as the 71 GTX. The Stage 1 vert is a stickshift! Only 67 built!

The interior and the top is lightbrown. Quite nice combo. He will start a restoration in the winter.
