Wouldn't 210K be a record paid for a Motion Vette ?

Thinking that with the amount of yenko camaros out there and a nice one is sitting close to the $200k mark and being that the amount of GT vettes out there i don't think that $210 is out of line.

I think Dan's Yellow/Black Motion Vette was more.

<font color="blue">That would suk, if the auction house would actually 'let' you bid against yourself,

I just replayed the video on the 68 Hemi Dart sale. The high bidder is at $192,500. You hear him being told by one "helper" that he is top bidder, when another "helper" walks right in front of the camera and says: "Will you go to 200?" There were no other bidders at that point as the bidding had stalled at $192,500 and he was waiting for the third and final call before the hammer fell. Now that was the most blatant episode of "BJ-ing" of a bidder I have ever seen.

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif(New technical term: "BJ-ing" = the unethical scamming of a high bidder into raising his own top bid)

Speaking of that Hemi Dart, they admitted that they could'nt verify that it was an original hemi dart and it went for $200K??????

Obviously the bidders moving it up in money figured it was right. Curious though, is that what unrestored hemi darts are going for?

Don't know about the Darts, but I know the '68 Hemi Cudas aren't even close to that price...

Are the Vin#s consecutive on the Hemi cars?? The Gibb nova's are between 40&amp;50 apart. If the Darts are that way you have 1 in 49 chance it isn't one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Kim... the vins on the Hemi Darts were consecutive. I remember Brock stating this car had a VIN that was within the possible range.
