Charley, cool vettes. You will have to invite the vette boys back over to the barn!! Awesome find, they are cleaning up very nicely.

Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
Congratulations Charley!
I've been checking back since you posted the first pics and couldn't take it anymore -I had to post! I like this find better than the one posted on the Hotrodders Bulletin Board a while ago. That '56 is way cool and so are the mags on the '63. I had the same thoughts about the '56 as I was looking at the pics -clean her up, make her road worthy and roll it around a bit. If the iron PG is/was in the trunk, what took its place? -an aluminum PG? I'd gladly help you clean that wax off the grill, but it's a bit of a drive for me. ha Keep the pics coming. Paul |
Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
Pushed the 56 up on the hoist and it has a Muncie 4 speed. Also has glasspacks. The fuel pump was off and a new one with new fittings and hose along with the bolts was sitting on the firewall. I might just have to try to get it running. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
leave it ratty and drive it with the owl poop Charley...that is a cool looking car.

Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
I'll bet those glasspacks will sound cool, especially under hard acceleration. Then let off and coast on compression: BWAAAAAAAAAP---POP---POP---POP.

Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
I was hoping it had a 4-speed. Nice package.
Now, don't put that FI unit from the non-original '63 on there! |

Just hook up the fuel pump and cruise. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif It's too cool just as it is! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif |

Great find Charley! Do you have any documentation to go with the silver 67 from Harry Mann? If you have interested I can tell you a little bit about the dealership. E-mail me if interested ([email protected]).
