One of those decisions in life that at the time it was made was a good one but in retrospect was a bad one . . .
I always had a soft spot for the 1966 L79 Nova SS. I was doing a lot of business with a man that lived in Westchester, NY. I used to go to his house to pick up equipment that I bought from him like computer monitors, monitor controllers and such. One time I looked in his garage and saw he had a Red/Red 66 L79 Nova SS. It was covered in dust and two of the four tires were flat. But the interior was in excellent shape as was the engine compartment.
I asked him how long he had owned the car - he said 10 years. "You don't drive it anymore?" He replied "nah - I've lost interest in it. I have other toys that I spend my time with." I asked him if he would consider selling it. He didn't say yes - he didn't say no - he said "I'll think about it."
And I didn't pursue it.

April 30, 1939, marks the day broadcast television was born. President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered the opening address at the New York World's Fair, and NBC broadcast the speech to homes all across the country for the first time.
