Lions are the only members of the big cat family to display obvious sexual dimorphism – that is, the male and females look distinctly different.

The U.S. Department of Justice wasn’t thrilled that a Georgia sheriff bought a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat with federal funds, demanding he reimburse the nearly $70,000 he spent. The DOJ got its money back, but local outlets report that the sheriff’s department just used county tax dollars on it instead.

Look at the ride height - that sure isn't factory

Yes, it is a common problem when people restoring these cars install the new springs that are listed in whatever resto catalog they refer to. The vast majority of these supply houses generically think that if a set of springs fits a Camaro then they are the correct spring for a Trans Am. Not! As a result you get the 4x4 look of the car sitting three inches over the tires. So, Firebird fans tend to call them "AWD" or "4X4" Trans Ams.

OK, I get it now. Tongue in cheek. I see cars with the wrong ride height. Just didn't know in the Poncho circles they sarcastically called them AWD. Was looking all over the interwebs for a factory experimental awd TA. Just shows how gullible I can be.

August 12 into August 13 (between midnight and 4 AM) will be the best time to see the perseid meteor shower. 50 to 70 meteors per hour at least. Sometimes as many as 200 per hour. If you have never seen this you really should. Try to find a spot with no light pollution.

Chlorine isn’t the problem
That smell is likely chloramine—a chemical irritant produced when chlorine combines with everything you don't want in the water, like urine, feces, sweat and dirt. It's chloramine that makes your eyes red, your throat burn and your skin itch. A well-managed pool shouldn't really smell, say experts.

I should mention that Mustang #1 got away from Ford Motor Company, having been sold to a airline pilot in Newfoundland.

Ford subsequently approached him about getting the car back and the deal was consummated when they gave him a newer model Mustang in exchange.

As a reputed "car guy" in SE Michigan I get exposed to a lot of tall tales.

My dad and I were visiting with the lady across the street and, as it often does, the subject turned to cars.

"I know the guy that has the first Viper. In fact, he has two of them".

Dad and I looked at each other with that "ok - here it comes..." look.

"Tom Gale" she said. "I was a friend in High School and still am good friends with Tom Gale".

"Oh" we replied". "Yeah - that would be right".

Tom was the head of Chrysler design at the time, and responsible for the K car, the mini van redo, and the Viper.

We've known Tom from back when he used to pump our gas at the local Shell station.
