From the beginning of his write up...

This is an LA build car that the original owner from Southern California, where it had been since new, sold to his nephew in Maine in September of 2001. It has a super nice all original sheet metal body that had original paint, with only some minor touch up work done on it. It also had a 3 piece rear spoiler added to it, which really bothered me. The car had headers installed on it, but the original exhaust manifolds, complete smog system, and even the cut of pieces from the original head pipes were in the trunk.

New found?
I've been waiting since 1979 (the year I bought my '70 1/2 RS)for these to gain "1969" exposure and value...so I've been cheering them on for awhile. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

I've been a big fan of one of the cleanest-looking body styles ever built...one that is timeless in design...and about as pure a styling exercise as one could imagine. It evokes memories of Jaguar with the front-end and Ferrari with the D80 spoiler out back. All this in 1970..! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

I too am glad to see these cars are being recognized...finally! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif
