What District do you work in,I was employed by UPS for over 20 years until I had to take a Medical Retirement.I started as a Plant Engineering Mechanic, then worked as an Auto Mech for 1 year then went into Management for the last 15 years.I SERVED ALL MY TOUR https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif in the SE Texas District.I did have many opportunities to meet many nice UPS Employees around the Country during my TOUR OF DUTY with UPS.Hang in there those last few years,it should be a breeze for you as long as you have been there.Keep those vehicles rolling so the Stock prices RISE RISE RISE like a hot air baloon! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

Hi Bob, I work in the No. Ill district and have worked in this area all along. I started as a full time employee as a mechanic at 21 years old. I have seen management come and go some good some bad. The only complaint is they never let hourly buy the stock until the early 90s. In the early 90s when the stock was available to us I actually sold my Yenko Camaro and bought some. Actually I dont know what would have been a better investment The Yenko or the stock. I have made it this far and also have met some great people and acquired some life long friends, the rest should be easy.

Sam- The last few years I have somehow survived a number of layoffs. Now with the new commander on board it has been very quiet. I am hoping that he is willing to invest in us rather than replace us. At least our stock is moving upward. Thanks for asking. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Have been an electrican for 28 years. Since 9/11 we have been slow. We don't do residential so when Merck, Smith Kline, and any steel companies that are left in this country don't spend money....we are out of work. I know things are cyclical, but it is hard to get ahead let alone keep up. Puts my car stuff and hobbies on the back burner, maybe even off the stove!! Owned "New Orleans Information Services" (computer networking, web design and Cable/Fiber plant) since 1996 here in New Orleans, LA. Grew into Orlando Fl, Hattiesberg MS and Mobile AL with the tech boom of the 90's. Bought two $100,000 + Hummers (before H2's) for advertising (wrapped with the compnay Logo's) and client relations. They were bigger pices of junk then what I remembered them being in the Air Force.
Lost everything in the Tech crash and shrunk down to just New Orleans and 5 employees (remember the picutures from silicon valley of the x millionaires living out of their jags and bmw's). Things are picking up and we are now opening 2 new offices in Mississippi, Jackson and the Gulf Coast. Dream is a CoPo and a Yenko for the next advertising campaign! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif
