Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I did some research online on the Yenko ZL-1 blocks and everything I found said they were cast from 1975 to 1987. I believe Don wanted them for Can Am racing and GM had quit casting the blocks so he bought the tooling from them. I was looking into this because of a 69 Camaro that the owner said was a COPO that Yenko installed a Yenko ZL-1 block in. I don't think the car was a real COPO and if Yenko did install the block it wasn't done in 69 like the owner said.

Dover white car? If so, the car is said to be certified by JM as 9561. White car does have a much later Yenko aluminum block in it. So......has Tracy now concluded that the car that he's not allowed to post pictures of is a clone? |
