Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
One of my 69Z's NCRS doc came back with Bill Heard Chevrolet - Columbus GA.
Anyone have info on this dealer - besides it has closed a few yrs back? Im interested in what their period correct plate frames or decals look like and to purchase a few items. |

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
I got the Dealer # and Zone info for my '69 Camaro ( Zone 19, dealer 361) but they couldn't tell me who that dealer is/was.
It is Oregon (Zone 19) and it is a dealer between C-O in the alphabet but that's all I can muster so far (thanks Peteleathersac). Who do I contact to get NCRS to do a re-check as I believe they may have made a typo. According to PeteL, Zone 19, dealer 362 was chuck olsen chev, just one number off. Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Either Oregon or Seattle WA Des also again the C-O names are just a start, not for sure. Tough to criticize the NCRS for the service especially considering changes they've been going through but I meant to note yesterday that Wheelhop above should confirm or maybe recheck his info too as even the NCRS site lists Zone #03 Dealer #342 as Hauck Chevy Waynesville MO? Also, lots of past Bill Heard threads here as the Columbus operation delivered an HO Deuce also other cool cars! Here's a link to one thread, note attachment by Marlin of the Bill heard emblem. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...;Number=189883 ~ Pete |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Got the paperwork on my Nova, built November 25,1968
Dealer was Arrow Chev Inc. Los Angeles, California. Does anybody have any information about this dealer? I believe they're out of business now. |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
I recieved my order for a 1970 Nova and was so happy with the quick turnaround and verification keeping in mind that I ordered mine 1 or 2 days after the original guy left but I only waited about 3 weeks with the 2nd person who took over with the new signature. I called a friend in AZ. and he was so enthused that he ordered 3 and they were all shot back with no info. (2) 1968s and (1) 1972 Novas. Has there been a large void in getting the 1968 Nova info from other members? Thanks in advance.

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Got my package today for our 70 TH400 L78 car...I thought this car would have a dealer near Buffalo, NY [that's where I found it}...turns out it was delivered to Krise Motor Co, Canton PA....dealer code #380....zone 12...1/21/70...date matches build sheet.
Anyone ever heard of this dealer?? they are west of Scranton 30 miles south of the NYS border...small town of 1800 according to the web. I have spoken to the local hometown newspaper and the owner is going to help me in my search. According to him the dealer has been gone for over 30 years, but there are still family members in town...the original dealership is now a parts store. The search begins...wilma |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
I grew up 10 miles from there...very small town, excellent wrestling.
