Re: EBAY 9000 mile L-89 Camaro

The bottom line is that the car is not going to sell cheap ( quite the opposite ) if we were discussing it or not. Furthermore, there will need to be a very expensive restoration done. Anybody that thinks they could possibly catch the seller sleeping is just fooling themselves. They ( seller ) know what they have and they know the approximate value also. And they probably know what restorations cost now a days also.
How many of us do not know the approximate value of our cars and the approximate cost of restoration ?

It's an interesting car that's for sure. One thing that troubles me is the whole thing about having the window sticker and original bill of sale in "storage". If I was selling the car I think I would take those out of storage and include them with the ad. As a buyer, those would be some of the first things I would need to see before I even committed a dime to this.

Throw in what is going on with the bidding and it makes one want to burst a blood vessel https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif

It is very obvious what kind of people these two partners are based on the way they conduct their business.

It is a very cool and rare car. If anyone else has a documented L89 4 speed, Std or RS, project or builder, with good owner history/pedigree, for sale then please contact me at; [email protected]

Regards,

Stefano

I once had a car with two build sheets and lost one. I blame it on stupidity, having too many irons in the fire. I think sometimes that it may have been stolen. But I was young and dumb, and I still look for it. I think I may have put it in a book. I hope to some day find it and give it to rightful owner.

He didn't get the paperwork because he didn't know what he had...once he realized what the car is, he went back for any paperwork he could find.

427King, I was the one who sent you the message...I just wanted you to see the facts before you spent alot of $$ https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

LOL...Don...stop yelling. We all come to these sites to get educated. They earned their reward when they found the car. So they come and find out what market value is,nothing wrong with that. If they are bidding on it themselves there is a problem but I can't find fault with surfing the net to figure out what it is worth.
