Had the implant done yesterday. Still some groggyness and dizziness but Doc said it went well. Went with Med-EL brand and the company rep was there during the surgery. The Med-El brand I'm told is the only one that has a MRI done to know the exact length to make the electrode that extends into the Cochlea and not fold over. They won't turn it on for a month. No idea what it looks like under the bandages... Yuck.

----Clearly remember sitting at the bar with you, Charley, and after a while you said "move to my other side". Since I have had hearing aids for over 10 years now I wonder when or if I'll face the same decision you made. Congrats on the decision as it sucks not hearing....Bill S
