great thread, great car, always wanted one of these.
My neighbor is helping his friend on the coupe version they bought in pieces on the east coast and brought it back to Chicago. These are such cool looking rides. I had 2 TR7s back in the day and they were nothing but electrical nightmares. The carbs kept me busy enough (had to change the damper oil viscosity based on the season temps). You are dam lucky to have that ride. |
They drive pretty nice. They have a good weight to them and seem to float down the road. I’m hoping no electrical gremlins rear their heads and don’t think they will since everything is new. I also replaced the gas tank and added the spin on oil filter conversion ditching the canister style original. :biggthumpup:

UPS guy showed up and dropped off the roll of 80/20 loop carpet I ordered, soooooooooo:smile: Attachment 232134 Attachment 232135 Attachment 232136 Attachment 232137 Attachment 232138 Of course not being an upholstery guy (I’m actually not really an anything guy :hmmm:) it was a bit challenging since the floors are contoured a lot.
