Thank you. If possible, my plans are at least a pair of M/T valve covers, and maybe Purple Hornies.

Better replace the snubber on the RH traction bar ...

Thank you for pointing that out. Never noticed it was broken.

Cleaned up the Chevelle yesterday. This one is more fun. It's a 396/325/Powerglide car that was originally Granada Gold with a Gold interior. It was built in Atlanta. Now it's got a Edelbrock Performer 2-0 intake, a Holley 750 (vaccum secondaries), L78 heads, 10.5:1 compression, headers leading to Thrush mufflers, a TH400 with an 1800 stall converter, and has 4.56 gears in the rear. Naturally, it's insanely fun. Last summer my birthday gift to myself was to be up all night in the garage waxing it (boy did it need it).

The Chevelle was leaking gas ( I pushed it out before) but we now replaced the fuel line. It runs nicely.

Oh geez, do I see the coolant overflow can on the ground or was that one of the 'tools' you needed to do the fuel line repair ?

There is another thread going on about the youth of America not keen on these cars......

You go guy and get your friends involved too.....
Youth is a enduring factor !
