Re: Dedicated Day 2 Thread
Could be a repost in the thread, but wanted to clear this up. Here is the Hurst Line Loc used on Ken Barnhart's car.
http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/w...Tx/hurstll.jpg Which is the same type my sister Monica has here: http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/w.../linelock2.jpg Now I saw on ebay tonight that another type of old Hurst Line Lok sold for $270. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...NA%3AUS%3A1123 Looks like a similar box. http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/w...ollcontrol.jpg http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/w...llcontrol1.jpg Anyone have an idea what vintage this is? |
Re: Dedicated Day 2 Thread

I started my "Motorswap",the 326 Poncho motor was pulled out-I decided to use a 1969 Vintage SBC 350..It has all the Rite "DAY2" mods done to it..Its an 010 block with 441 Heads, OLD Crane "FIREBALL" camshaft-Double roller chain-Z28 Aluminum Highrise intake-Single point ignition with ACCEL-points -Wires-Cap&rotor-APPLIANCE headers with THRUSH Header mufflers. For the drivetrain Im using a Muncie M21 tranny with HURST COMP+ shifter-and a ZOOM Street/strip Pressure plate & SHEIFER clutch disc.I have a few pics,I will post more when it's Done-its gonna look oldschool... |
