Jeffrey - your '71 Z looks great. The day-two concours judging at MCACN is for restored cars with period correct day-two speed parts. But, your car would be a BIG hit at MCACN just as it is. What a stance! Check with Bob Ashton the big Kahuna with MCACN for details.

On the spec page for the HMM article I used Pete Simpson's most recent results (Pure Stock) at the race track for the quarter-mile performance.

The inspiration for this photo setting was Randy Leffingwell's American Muscle Car book (Otis Chandler's collection). The specific shot is the H.O. ZL1 Camaro at the train yard - just a BAD, BAD shot IMO!!!

Are those header mufflers.they are cool...but watch you're angle ground clearance.......almost damaged my headers on the street..and had to make some adjustments...

Re: Roof Deuce Restoration

Appreciate it Joe. Those are Cherry Bombs (Roof's originals). That is the angle that the headers (Cyclones) gave me. I hang them off the front rear-spring perch. The pipes exit the car about 6 to 8 inches off of the deck. Railroad crossing jumps will have to be done a bit gingerly!!
