The outdoor show season is winding down here in northern IN. The Essenhaus in Middlebury IN had their final cruise-in of the year last Thursday. I didn't hear the official count, but I believe there were close to 2,000 cars there. Here are a few of my favorites. This 58 Yeoman four-door wagon came down from the Chicago area. It is powered by a small block with an automatic. It's a pretty cool looking cruiser. J. Brink had it there.

In '22 he won with an 8.33 average and in '23 he won with a 7.82 average. For those who don't know the True Street Race begins with a 30-mile cruise followed by three consecutive quarter mile runs down the track. You aren't allowed to open the hood and only minimal maintenance like changing tire pressures, adding fuel or packing parachutes is allowed.

This car was in the running for Street Rod of the Year at the Goodguys event in Columbus OH this year. It is LS powered with a manual transmission.
