It was actually Paul Revere &amp; The Raiders who were responsible for the "SS 396" track. The Cyrkle performed the "Camaro" tune.

For you Pontiac guys, Paul Revere &amp; The Raiders also did a promotional song called "Judge GTO Breakaway." Some pretty cool lyrics in there, the chorus goes "Pontiac Ram Air 400 cubes for action...wide track...mag type...polyglas shoes for traction...THE JUDGE WILL RULE!"
