His explanation for why most of the cars were column shift is odd.
How in the world does a column shift car make it easier for folks to get in and out?

Don’t ‘67 IPC have a fleet code on the data plate/trim tag? I didn’t see that code on the snapshot of tag from the car in question here.

Some do have the fleet codes. Zone supplied IMS commitment fleet cars are 0-1 designated on the trim tag.

Real C-1 Dealer IPC replicas (at a minimum) will display a dash mark after the 5th group on the tag indicating the deletion of the standard color bumblebee stripe.
