I bought a carb from Eric (Ohio) and he shipped it FedEx on Friday 12/18 and it showed up at my office in Northern IL today (Monday 12/21). Was not supposed to deliver until tomorrow - pleasantly surprised it was early. I'm not usually that lucky.

On 12/14 I mailed seven parcels. Three of them were Priority Mail boxes, picked up at our house by our regular mail carrier during her regular delivery route. All three made it to their destinations on or ahead of the projected delivery date. The other four were large manila envelopes which I took to the Post Office and mailed via First Class mail. None have arrived yet. Last Friday the tracking service said they were out for delivery by 9pm that day (really??? the Post Office delivering up to 9pm??? :haha: ). Today it says that two have just left the Phoenix AZ facility and the other two just say they will be "late" :dunno:

For the most part though, I have no issues with the USPS.....I think they do a good job for the $$.

Missing 4 piston calipers using USPS

I sent a pair of original 68Z calipers to Lonestar on May 28th 2020, and insured them for $500.00. Calipers have never been found. In August I was informed a picture of the broken empty box was taken in a USPS facility in Tennessee ? (Sent from Phoenix to Dallas area).
USPS wanted a receipt for the calipers to consider the insurance coverage. After many conversations and emails I ended up with the Customer's Advocates office in Washington DC.
Because of a lack of a receipt for 52 years old calipers, they decided they were worth $217.70, I wrote them to explain the cost difference between common Camaro calipers and the 67-68 4 piston variety. No response.
Beware insuring anything you don't have a sales receipt for. I even sent them the invoice for the replacements I had to buy. The local UPS folks told me the same thing. No proof of purchase value no refund !!

Theres never been a delay when it comes to the price increases. You charge someone for 2 day priority and it takes 20 days..So you pay for a service you dont get

I did that as well and it took 11 days on a two day priority mail. Told the postoffice and they

just laughed.
