Terrible news ... The car culture definitely has a hole in it now where Dave once stood. I had only met Dave one time when I was invited down to see the Desert Rat when Dana had it at Daves. I was blown away at the hospitality as well as just the few cars he had there. He insisted we come back and hang out and I just never got the opportunity. He had some of the highest caliber cars and yet to him they were just cars... Go ahead sit in it ... go ahead start it up was his mentality .. If we couldn't share our love for these cars then why own them was his mentality .. An absolute loss and we are all better for knowing him even if it was just a chance meeting .. R.I.P buddy leave a cloud of smoke when you go

Looking forward to it, Jim!

Sorry to hear this Bruce. Knowing you I'll bet Dave was a great guy.

To everyone who has so graciously offered their condolences and kind words for Dave, we wanted each of you to know how much it means to his family. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

To those of you who knew Dave and called him a friend, I want you to know that you touched his life as much as much as he touched yours. He spoke often and highly of the friends he made on the Supercar Registry.

Here's a link to the website I built for Dave several years ago. It's a little outdated, but it shows just how much he loved the cars. Enjoy- http://www.dlmusclecars.com/

BTW- You might want to check out the credits page. You'll probably be surprised to see a couple of names you recognize...;)

Thank you,
Marty Lindsley

Thank you Marty. For helping those who didn't know Dave, get a glimpse of his passion. It is still difficult to wrap my head around this one.
