The rivets on the trim tag are like nothing I seen before. Anyone know about them?

I think your seeing the seam sealer that forms a round blob ? I would guess it was pushed in from the back.

I will post a close up of the TT. I don't believe it's ever been off the car.
I have made contact with two of the previous owners. The car was raced on the street and at the track for most of it's early life. It was painted black and wore a blue stripe. After it's racing days, it was stored indoors until it was sold. He has pictures of the car for me from the early 80's. I hope to have them by next weekend. Can't wait! I believe I'm one owner away from the original owner! More to come... |
