Re: 67 W023 Coronet
LOL. For what it's worth, Roy, you guys look OK in white.
I am one of four boys. In the 80's we did a portrait of all four of us to give my parents. Did the same thing in the late 90's. On the second one, my artsy brother (who had done some professional photography) insisted we all wear white mock turtlenecks. Told us it would be "timeless" and "classic" looking. I still hate it almost 20 years later. Looks like a freakin milk man convention. |

Beautiful Vicky...I love them...what a classic hot rod! You better share after the blown flathead gets installed

Yep, photographer said wear white, so we did. |
Re: 67 W023 Coronet
I have an original 4-speed WO, and have had another auto and a RO/Belvedere. I'm not into original, though.

Michael - Welcome aboard. Would love to see a photo or two of your original 4 speed WO.

Re: 67 W023 Coronet
Thanks, Merry Christmas!! This was really used up, and I built the racecar out of it. I didn't have the heart to cut up the really nice one. That one just recently sold at auction.

Re: 67 W023 Coronet
The fact that its a Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge is a big plus, IMO.
Did you check the dealer file with Larry? |
Re: 67 W023 Coronet
Nope, had no idea. I called Norm Krause back around 2000. The call was for some info on the possible history on my car, as it was rumored to have been from around Chiraq. When I asked him about the 67 S/S cars and if he was the possible dealer of my car....he told me there was never any such car as a 67 WO23J, and if there was...he would have sold all of them. I was standing between both of mine at the time....and was dumb-founded. We argued for a bit, then I figured he was an idiot, and continued with my projects. I found out who originally owned my car, about 2008-09. I've talked with Jack a couple times. He informed me it was his favorite factory racecar. I'd like more history[from new], but didn't really know where to look.
