Ryan I know that car I talk to the original owner all the time at our vets club he is Vietnam vet. He bought the car at Southeast Chevy in Cleveland new and lives in Jefferson about 12mi. away from me. He says a guy from here as far as knows has the orig. motor for that car, don,t know for sure.

----Ryan,,,Have you lined up the rarest L89 Chevelle yet? The black on black L89 El Camino (my old car with somewhere around 16,000 original miles). Last I knew, when it was last at MCACN it was residing in NJ. Bob A would probably be able to reach out to the owner (cant remember his name). Would love another reunion with it......Bill S

Boy oh boy Ashtabula in 1968/69 must have been a hot bed of Musclecars you guys really knew how to order the best 1969 Chevelles in the country. Please gather a bit of information from your friend, any old pictures, or old regitrations, so I can follow up and try to find this car. (You can PM me if he doesn't want it to be public) If you find that L89 engine, i'll give you a case of beer. Ryan |

Ryan next time I will see if he has any pictures or info on the car. Also there was 69 COPO chevelle that a friend had, it was white 427 automatic lettered up for racing with Casper on the side.There is lot of rumors what happened to this will ask for pictures also a Vet.Yes there was lot 69 chevelles in this town back in the day.
