Bob and Nancy, glad to hear things were going well and you got a little reprieve before Christmas. We look forward to your weekly visits at the shop. Guess we better start having lunch ready when you arrive. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Re: Helping a Friend

Just a quick update on Bob L. The radiation (ARC) machine broke down last week, so Bob was only able to get ONE radiation treatment which also meant NO chemo treatment at all. He is headed back to Springfield, Illinois tomorrow to hopefully get to begin what would have been week 3 treatments, but will only be week 2 now.....PLEASE think of him as he is really fighting to beat this and tries sooo hard to be positive---it is frustrating when the equipment isn't working, but he is a FIGHTER !!! He really enjoys hearing from our Car Friends-(FAMILY)as he has to be in the hospital ALL week to be able to get this new type of treatments. "Thank You" to ALL of you who are helping him in this journey..... N.G. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Re: Helping a Friend

Nancy,

I guess I can ask Bob directly when we talk with him next but, does he have internet access at St. Johns? I'm making a run to Spfld in a day or two and plan to stop in and say Hi while I'm there; maybe do lunch again if they're available. I'll call and leave a message, or text them to see what their schedule is and if there's anything I can bring. (Maybe some magazines. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif )

I'm currently finishing up with radiation treatments this week. I've been done with chemo for two months, so tell Bob to hang in there.
