Bill,what month/year was this?

Yes, Oakbrook Shopping Center, which I believe is actually in the town of Oakbrook Terrace. Not sure of the month but it was in 1991.

Just for the record, the VIN of my old Challenger is JS23R0B186914, and in the late 90's it was purchased by a guy in Bethesda MD.

I know you guys don't consider these supercars, but here's a picture in my driveway in 2002.

Man I thought for sure that pic was a guy I know in CT has those exact two cars. Runs the typhoon at LVD Lebanon valley dragway. Runs strong. Great respect for those little SUVs. My buddy just sold a Omni GLH another little bad azz creation from that time period .

Decided to post over in this thread as this is still a work in process - don't want to put out bad info in my build thread. I may have connected with the original owner of my Rats Nest COPO. Another member on this site used to work with this guy and helped facilitate the connection - kudos to SYC site!

Bought new in early 1970 from Ray Bryant Chevrolet (pic is dated May 1970). Lemans Blue, black interior, 4 speed, no spoiler, X44 COPO. Someone else had ordered the car and backed out. He bought it shortly after returning from Vietnam. Many of the data points I have from my research with the 2nd owner's family align with info I got tonight. There are a few discrepancies that need worked out before I can say for sure.

Fingers crossed, I'm hopeful, but I may never get to the final answer. Nonetheless, it's a "baby picture" of a Supercar when it was just a few months off the assembly line - that in itself is cool!
