This is interesting to me:

1) Photo taken in the grassy area in front of the GM Design Studio at the Tech Center - but that's not why I'm here -

2) That's got a regular 1970 Michigan plate on it.

These days you can't register a regular plate unless the car has a production VIN. So if a car has an experimental VIN you have to run an M plate, if at all.

I would have assumed this car had an experimental VIN or maybe just a GM property tag. Maybe not. Or maybe the rules have changed.
