I Had Breakfast with Fred last Tuesday and we had a great Chuckle about this. It was a simpler time and many Risks to Life were taken by all.

His Mom Bought the Car in Feb 1966 & he still has it Today.

Vintage wood jack stands.

I have a Red 1950’s step stool.

I remember those well, we had one.

I think most every household in the 50’s - 60’s had these.
I remember as a kid in the 50’s my Mom had a yellow one in the kitchen.

Like everything else from that era, it was built to last.

Those bumper jacks terrify me.

I see he has a second wood Jack stand at the ready.

I picked up one to replace the one our family had back then too,they still make them. :)
