Question about the red fender liners:

Do they supplement the traditional steel fender inner, or do they replace it completely?

I am asking with regard to both Oldsmobile and Pontiac, if any of you know.

I know the Oldsmobile red inner fenders are red molded plastic and replace the metal fenders, Keith.

Pontiac and Plymouth used Red fender liners. Olds used red plastic fenders

I'm sure this looks better than they ever did originally at the dealership, but dang, that would be a hard one to pass up if you were looking for a new pony car in 1969, whoosh, what a beauty.
