There are No Aug. 1968 512 castings, it would be a 270 casting.

let me put it this way:

add 3 grand to your bid,bidding starts at a buck.

i have a strong feeling the auction will be cancelled before the end anyway.

ebay allows CD sellers to sell CD's on ebay for one cent,but charge $10 to ship,so what's the problem??

[/ QUOTE ] I also have a AUG 68 512,but not sure how early. The vin listed in this ad is for a NOV 68,not a NOV 69 car also,so that throws out the idea of it being a H9 looking like an H8 .

How do mistake 270 for 512? Ebay will remove you listing if the shipping charge is unreasonable, read the rules. If you are going to sell something, know the facts and be willing to answer questions.

The problem is that is against Ebay rules. It's called circumventing fees. What would you do if someone local won the auction and wanted to pick the parts up? NOT COOL

No, it's not "marketing", it's "scamming". You are hoping that someone does not notice the extreme THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR shipping charge and you can then extort, umm I mean, demand that they follow through with the auction.

Marketing would be talking up the block, and building a picture of what it could be.
