NJsteve could fix that in no time with his magic rust remover. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif
That car should be restored, albeit expensive.

Holy crap, that is phenomenally bad https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif Look at the back glass, even that has rust https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif The owner should get a good whippin' for letting that poor car get in such decrepit condition https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Jeff is this car from the islands, or somewhere else? Almost looks like it sat close to the ocean, and had a lot of salt spray drift.

Its here on Oahu. Place its sitting at right now (A body shop!!!) is about 3 blocks from the ocean. That along with being in the wettest part of Oahu didnt help it any??

It's absolutely heartbreaking to see that car in that shape.

Even so, I'd still try to save it. Those cars are cool beyond words. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Working with sea salt spray/mist is the worst. It eats from the inside out, and contaminates the metal. You might be able to save some of the body, but you're going to need another donor body for a lot of the panels.Worst part with sea spray is that the inner structure/supports are usually gone too. To bad. That's a cool ride. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Is that Volusia County FL ? Somewhere between the college at Deland and the Daytona speedway there was an encounter with that Sheriff that involved a Mustang GT 5.0, a ride in that squad car and an orange canvas jumpsuit.
it's a very long story. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

Yes it is...he bought this POS and had it restored with taxpayers money, nice.
Was that 'encounter' recent? That particular car was only completed 3 or 4 years ago.
