Re: Old SW Gagge Question
And I thought this thread might answer the original question about the SW gauges - it was a honest inquiry.
Gezzz....you guys should get out more https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif |
Re: Old SW Gagge Question
Thanks for the reply, just wondered about the gages. They belong to my father, he has the three shown and the vacuum gage and all seem to work.
He tells some story about a 63 Impala SS 4 speed car that he had these in... sold it because of one of his kids being born a long while ago and kept the gauges for sentimental reasons. And yes, I am likely older than those in previous posts, not that it matters. |

As has been mentioned, keep the gauges 'cause down the road you might find a car worthy of them. When you do, you'll see your Daddy smiling at you every time you look at them. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif |
Re: Old SW Gagge Question
Thanks for the advice. At this time I am lucky to still have Dad smiling at me but someday these gauges may be mine. Til then they'll be in his garage with other old Chevy stuff.
I think they'd be just fine in my 70 SS 396 convertible then. 'Til then I'll stick with the factory gauges and a few supplemental Autometers. Thanks again, have a good day. |
