There's a link in the first message of this thread... follow that to see a picture of it in a magazine ad. Also is this area of the forum there has been one or 2 threads already about this car from back in the day. [/ QUOTE ] I assume he was showing the ad as to what a B/M Camaro originally looked like.. you're saying this Is this THE car from that ad??? I don't think this is the same car from the ad and previous threads.. That was about the "mindbender" B/M Camaro which is an RS. This car that's all tubbed and tube framed out isn't an RS. Motion Camaro.. do you have any old pics of your car?? Just curious if it was ever featured in original condition in one of the old CARS issues or something. What was the original colors and options it had? |

[/ QUOTE ] Here are the original options -> https://www.yenko.net/attachments/133...dwinmotion.jpg This car was an original R/S - S/S. I talked to the original owner & he took off the disc brakes & R/S parts because they weighed too much. The car has been off the street (legally) since 1971. Also: The old frame was exactlly where the reverse light used to be. Now that I put in a tube chassis (19"wide), I can put them back in if I want to. |

Re: 1968 Baldwin Camaro Tubbed & Tubed

Ed,
Mine is one of those unknown ones. The paint on it is original. As far as I can tell there were never any stripes. It only has 27,000 miles on it. (68->71) The original owner said he put the headers, removed the before mentioned equiptment & a set of slicks & went 10.30's |

Joe,
I'm still wiring up the car for the EFI. Gonna put the motor back in next week & see if I did a good job. The quick start feature is the initial program of the TEC3. Put in cyl, fuel, inj. size , HorsePower, etc. The ECU gives it a start mode to idle. All done on a windows screen. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif |
