Second pic is hooked to five batteries. Will report when / if done charging.

The four huge batteries in the back row are out of a couple of floor scrubbers I purchased at a surplus sale. OTHER THAN dead batteries, they both work fine; just need a few maintenance items.

I can probably get away with much smaller batteries, but if I can get these to work, all the better. The black ones (Duracell) cost about $320 each, the brown ones (Trojan) cost $410 each; so figured it was worth the gamble. There is no "magic" to either one, so could buy the cheaper ones, but would rather not. I could also go with a couple of Optima yellow top, and save some money. These are designed to clean up to 92000 square feet on a single charge. I won't ever clean over 2900 feet at a time.

Still waiting on that report... LOL
I did get one too and it is charging 3 batteries. I found my missing NAPA battery for the '66 Chevelle under the hood of my Camaro. I don't remember putting it in that car, but must have when I moved it to the shop, almost 2 years ago and yes, it was stone dead. The pulse brought it back, but I haven't tried it in a vehicle yet.

Brought one back from the dead.
Jury is still out on the two huge batteries for the floor scrubber. They weight 106 pounds each.

I would give up on this, but every time it stops charging and says "full" I let it sit overnight, and the voltage is coming up just a little every day. I am using a 24 volt pulse charger on the two floor scrubber batteries as, that is how I will need to charge them once installed. Voltage after an over night rest was about 16v when I started. Up over 22v now. Not in a huge hurry (darn good thing!!!!) so will give it some more time. These batteries are about $600 a pop; still hopeful.

The other two are a lost cause.
