Re: Day 2 Intake
----Running an oval-port intake (albeit on a very modified motor) boosted velocity and picked up my mid and top end on Red Alert. That was due to the smaller diameter runners as I recall......Bill S

I've got a Torker 2-0 if anyone needs one.

Offy 360 or Dual-Port.

Here is a Torker 2-0 it has the oval ports. The carb turned sideways is too cool! http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/DSC02287.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/DSC02286.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/DSC02282.jpg |

Re: Day 2 Intake
I checked the intake that is on the engine now, it's an Edelbrock Performer RPM unit. That is a good manifold, but I don't think it is very vintage. I'm leaning towards this Torker 2-0, sure looks cool - wondering about the linkage though.....

Re: Day 2 Intake
You can fab something up pretty easy. That's what we did on mine...heated and bent a Chevrolet bracket.

Re: Day 2 Intake
Would not be too bad to just use a 1970 cable linkage. Seems it would match the timeline of the intake.
