Best to keep them short, a longer one would be more difficult.

I dont know, The first Corvette he had was a 68 Corvette with a L88 in it (Beckers)

The second was a 69 and he put a ZL1 in it, (Torleifs)
And he had two of them (Thorleifs Corvettes)

The third was a 62 Corvette with a ZL1 engine.

It was a requirement to prevent oil hitting the hot pipes, a few years later the dual pipes came around.

You got me inspired Anders, I have to start digging in my drawers. I have a few pictures from the same time.

Thank you guys ! Looking at old pics is real fun so you better find some of yours Jan, and post them.
I don´t think "Juan" had any original L-88 Corvettes but he bought hard to find parts in his quest for lower times.

I believe this one is the same as the one with "Beckers" on it. Just a year or two later.

Here is another one, a convertible, at the track in Anderstorp. I don´t know when I took this one but it could be the early eighties.

You are probably right Anders

Thorleifs II and ZL1 engine
So from 1977 the Corvettes was named thorleifs. 1978 the estate was further a Corvette, a-69 coupe. Production year GM introduced the infamous 1969 ZL1 engine., 1979, it was time for Juan to try their luck with the new ZL1 engine, which he managed to squeeze the entire 575 HP from.
