That's all for tonight. I must be a diehard! When I came home, I went BACK out to check out the cruise at a local Walmart, but it began raining and almost everyone left. So no cruise pics. |
Re: My Spring Carlisle 2009 Pics
I was at the show from 8:30am to around 3pm. I didn't see half the cars you pictured. I guess I missed a few rows.
Thanks for posting the pics. -Dave |

Thanks for posting the pics, and taillights too.
One of these years I have to get there. |
Re: My Spring Carlisle 2009 Pics
Great pics!!! I saw all those cars at the show. We stomped around spring carlisle for 3 days (from sun up to sun down. The funniest thing: there was a guy cruising around with this early 60s Austin Healey 3000 with a L-79 vette motor (Being a chevy freak I thought that was awesome)I bet there where some Healey pursists that where upset https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Well just got home last night can barely walk this morning. Hitting up the local car cruise tonight though, got love being a car guy.

I too was at the Carlisle show on Thurs and Fri and I snapped a few pics....
The first 2 pics are Rick's of the white 69 ZL1 re creation, this car was an incredible restoration every nut and bolt was done. I talked with the owner and he claims it has a true ZL1 motor and the Winters logo was present on the block, heads, and intake. I don't know a whole lot about these copo ZL1's but this car seemed like an incredible buy priced at 100K. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...h120/copo1.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...h120/copo2.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000444.jpg Beautiful little 70 pickup priced at 14K http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000445.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000446.jpg Beautiful 63 split window Vette, rare color combo dark blue (Daytona blue??) with red interior didn't get the price http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000447.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000448.jpg great 69 Z28 with awesome colors Fathom Green white stripes and interior, priced to sell at 57K http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000449.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000451.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000450.jpg I'm surprised Rick missed this one...if I had the funds, this car would have come home with me! 1969 Chevelle SS396 L78 4 speed with great colors...LeMans blue with white vinyl top and white interior Numbers match car with paper and also priced to sell at 57K. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000452.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000455.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000454.jpg 1962 409 http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000456.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000457.jpg Very nicely done 1966 427 Belair clone priced in the low 20's http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000458.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000460.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_P1000459.jpg And lastly, this car tells you the state of our economy, a 1967 Impala SS 396 convert with every possible option that you can imagine...tilt, comfort tron air, factory cruise control, fiber optics, power windows and seats, you name it and this car had it....went through the auction Thurs night with a 22k reserve and only bid to 21K and owner wouldn't sell. I was bummed I missed that one, but I usually don't walk down an aisle twice. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif That Lemans Blue '69 was first parked in an aisle I had already gone down, went back later (breaking my rule) and it was gone. I see now where they moved it too. Thanks for shooting it! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |
