Bill, sharp eye!

1964, 65, 66 Pontiac Tempest Series used the same tilt lever as shown below in a loaded ‘66 GTO.

As Saginaw developed the tilt column in 1961, I believe for Cadillac but available on the 1963 Pontiac. it makes sense that the tilt lever is the same. I suspect Ford acquired a Saginaw for their customization. Ford utilized a tilt a way column for tbirds,Mustangs and Lincoln.
Chrysler used many Saginaw components over the years.
