I also had the pleasure of seeing Benny's car at vettefest. What a great job he did and he was gracious enough to let me crawl all over it and spend time giving me pointers as NNN is restoring my car right now. Thanks Benny and glad we finally got to meet. Congratulations!

Thats funny that this car comes back up. It seemed like every time I was painting a car for bbbenny my wife had a due date reeeeally close. This car and benny's drag car were both painted days before my #2 and #3 boys were born. My wife is glad benny is happy with the flying dutchman cuz she is done even though #4 had nothing to do with him. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] Car still looks great after all these years!!! Put the &quot;vintage&quot; headers from the racecar on the green car and purchase some new and better tubes for The Dutchman. Remember a solid 10.20 et. will set that B/MP record and yourrrr close.

The L78 is the perfect car for that. The green will be hi-lighted with yellow T-bars and some Cragars. get Paul to make you a pair of nova tow tabs and we can do them in orange. maybe swap your &quot;vintage&quot; headers from the red car to the green car and buy some better tuned tubes for the race car. That probably will be your only real expense but will be good for the Flying Dutchman. The car will run in B/S. I can smell another gold spinner and maybe more.

Beautiful Nova. I'm working on a '69 L78/CX400 Nova right now. Can anyone please tell me what color of paint to buy to replicate the blue used on the brake line and fuel line clips? Thank you.

I think the brake line clips are a greenish tint. I used Testors model paint for the fuel line clips. I believe it is transparent blue.
