Thanks for being a part of the Judging team, Tim and for the continued support and participation.

You are going to be a busy guy, as we have two blocks of '67's in our Triple Diamond gallery! In fact, the largest field ever of TD contenders, with 56 ranging from 1954-1972. Whew!

Thanks so much for joining the "team" and for showing the SC/360 in Barn Finds. What a cool car.

Yes...Friday is a crazy day and we will certainly put you to work. I like to think of it as "organized chaos" and I am confident that our team has things really dialed in this year. We have had several team meetings (in several states!) coordinating and exchanging ideas.

Oh...best of all is a whole lot of additional trailer parking!

Actually, best is when I walk in Saturday morning and see how it all came together when most are across the street resting up for two awesome days!

Counting down the days....

It's a great show, Bob. I don't know how you do it.

MCACN is put on by team people. From security, traffic coordinators, judges, staff that organize and answer all questions and resolve issues, many...many volunteers, sponsors, show partners, Bob's tireless efforts and most importantly the participants and attendees.

This show will be like none other!!!

Im really looking forward to my second time at this incredible show and hopefully to meet some of you from this great site!

Thursday afternoon: quite quiet but transports are rolling in.

Friday mid day: lots of cars now and starting to get in their correct locations

Friday evening: looking like organization and still many hours before it all comes together.

So, coincidentally the ENTIRE ROOM by Bill will be filled with our High School Reunion Invitational participants. Nearly 50 cars are joining us for this awesome feature and coincidentally, Bill's '67 happens to be in close proximity to your booth.

Amazing how these things happen at the MCACN show, isn't it?

Many years ago I read Lee Iaccoca's book and he said something I'll never forget. "Surround yourself with the right people..."

THAT is the key to my success.

Mitch, you forgot one like, Monday morning at 1:00 a.m. waiting for the transporter to come back and pick us up. Thanks to Bob and Vicki for driving BACK to the arena with some food for me. I have never forgotten that!

Believe me, after spending 4 LONG days at the show, I was MORE than ready to get home and that delay really sucked but we do what we gotta do. LOL

As for this year Bob, since this is the first time in a long time I will be there without a car in the show, I will be home in time for a home cooked dinner on Sunday but thanks for the offer. ;)

R68GTO 11-17-2024 08:25 PM

Decided to make the trip. Hope to see all of you on Saturday!

I feel the same way by noon-1pm on Sunday after having been there since 10 am Thursday. I don't get home in time for dinner, but I'm ready to fall in my own bed after an 8 hour drive.

This is one of the cars I can't wait to see in person! It is in the Veterans Display and the owner Mike Vietro is a proud Marine. It has achieved many awards but is now competing for the Concours Gold and Triple Diamond @MCACN

Here's the detailed history and documented achievements.

Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to only be an hours drive away for this show.........those in the suburbs even closer.

67since67 11-18-2024 08:19 PM

What's not to love about a Marina Blue '67 :beers:

TimG 11-18-2024 10:41 PM

Both the Survivor 435 convertible and the L89 are great cars. They have both been to our Texas Regional, also.

Pro Stock John 11-19-2024 12:20 AM

Beautiful!

That would be Triple Diamond, my friend. We are not affiliated in any way with the old CVF show that no longer exists.

Safe travels!

I had to cancel. I'm not able to sleep yet after having my shoulder repaired. There should be a room available at Embassy Suites now. I canceled my reservation this morning. I hate to miss this, but I just can't do it right now.

Too Many Projects 11-20-2024 04:13 PM

Sorry you can't manage this and had to cancel, fully understand about recovery from surgeries taking too dang long ..LOL
