If we get the car done in time I will feel like a guy asking to join a deer hunting party on private land for the first time. Talk about a major newbie! LOL

You'll find some old friends there and fit right in Rick! :beers:

Rick . . . I'm really hoping you and your Yenko will be there. I want to meet you and see that Chevelle up close. It would be an honor if I got to park next to you at the show.

Rick, the show is very informal. It's just a great time to gather with friends and look at the awesome Chevelles. No stressful judging or anything like that. Our club would love to have you come and show off the car...

You don't have to finish the car, we love frames, half done cars.... Don't feel the pressure, bring what ya got!

SS427 10-26-2018 02:28 PM

It will be beyond that by August so it will be the whole car or none. Would have been fun to bring the chassis however.

I don't know, Rick. We're coming next year to visit with Woj and graciously, drive a few of his cars to and from the show. Being a Mopar guy, who knows if I'll be accepted!! Do Chevys drive the same?m:blush::hmmm:

But sounds like a way cool show and a great group of guys, so I'm pretty excited to come next year!

Cheers:beers:

The rest of us are going to be in the serious minority for sure!!

Postsedan 12-31-2018 04:02 PM

As you all know this is a lot of work.....I do this on my own time and dime.
I am happy to do it!

Rick (SS427) you can to it next year to the '70 Chevelle 50th Anniversary :)

Dan

SS427 12-31-2018 04:08 PM

Not! I'm a newby and will not be stepping on anyone's toes not that there will be a line of people volunteering to do it.

Postsedan 12-31-2018 04:19 PM

All good Rick :)
It will be fun having you among us.

Not at all, NOCC encourages all conditions. Very fun laid back show.

Bring What You Got :)

Please do tell What 1969 Chevelle you have?

I'll double down on what Dan said. Bring what you have. Dan talked a guy into bringing a true barn find 69 SS. It was dusty, dirty and rusty. Guess which car had the most lookers??

Phil just to add, there is no high point or technical judging either. It's all participants choice and most folks get awards due to the large number the club has to give out. It really is a fun, laid back atmosphere. More about the cars themselves and people..

The club always has lots of fun events going on all weekend as well during the show. I'm a member and will be working the show this year.

Right on Rich. This is a show like no other. It truly is about folks getting together who love Chevelles and spending time with other like minded participants. The club does an excellent job of entertaining everyone.

Oh Yes.....Sean Willis and the Family Heirloom 1969 Convertible. She certainly had a huge crowd around her all weekend. That was a lot of fun.
NOCC is a lot if fun when the unexpected comes along.

Yes, and they even let non-Chevelle guys in, too! Matter of fact, I’m going to make an award to hand out and bring it with: Super Dave’s Mopar Choice Chevy Award”:hmmm::hmmm::biggthumpup::tongue:

Thanks guys, I've been to the show a few times in the past but have never had my car with me. 69 - 76/76 756 but has been painted a butternut color in the past. I'll get my registration in this week. Thanks again!
