What is that under the cover that you are using for a work bench?

That's my 1967 Mustang Fastback. It makes a great workbench.

....as long as those BBC heads aren't being tossed on the 'workbench' :haha:

Wow, nice Mustang!

Sweet Chevelle - love the Marina Blue and white top. IS it original paint?

scuncio 05-12-2018 03:24 AM

firstgenaddict 05-15-2018 09:22 PM

IS that a safari yellow 68 Vette roadster? With the L88 hood?

BARNFOUND YENKO 05-16-2018 01:45 AM

Quick update on this project. Had the heads rebuilt since there was 2 stuck exhaust valves. Still have to do the exhaust and one leaky wheel cylinder.

big gear head 05-16-2018 07:26 PM

Wow, that cleaned up nice. Looks good.

Jonesy 05-16-2018 08:13 PM

I like the look with those mag style hubcaps

Xplantdad 05-16-2018 08:16 PM

Love it!

SuperNovaSS 05-16-2018 08:20 PM

Looking great Matt! I like how you left the engine so it looks untouched instead of flufffing it.

My machinist thought my "keep as much original paint as possible" and "please don't sandblast the outside of the heads" requests were unusual. Everything else was just cleaned carefully.

Bill Pritchard 05-16-2018 09:38 PM

Your requests might have been unusual, but they were definitely the right ones! Looking good.

X 1000

So tired of seeing unrestored cars with engines that have shiny paint..

JpMotorsports 05-17-2018 03:35 PM

Great choice to not have them blasted. Whats next for this awesome 67?

I love your car! Great pickup! Body looks like you don't have any rust issues? Have fun with that top down and rowing the gears.

I still have to do exhaust and find some other pieces that this car will end up needing eventually. Then drive the hell out of it.

It does have some minor rust issues here and there. Honestly, the worst part of the whole car is the frame, which I will have to replace eventually. Just wanted an honest original driver, which is what this car will always be to me.
