Ultra Rare! Atlanta Chevy Dealership’s 427 Conversion 1969 Nova https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enth...cid=spartandhp |
That Anderson Nova is ridiculously cool. I wonder if that is the source for the '67 SS Chevelles that were transplanted with 427's as well. I remember in the 80's Auto Trader Magazines several of these '67 Chevelles that had 427's and that looked like dealer add-ons like this one. There had to have been a dealer in the south east states that was doing them.
|
You would think that there would be at least one ad from them if they were doing all these conversions. I cannot even find a picture of their dealership later than the 1930's. If they are doing anything there has to be some kind of documentation somewhere. I'm not buying some guys story.

Awesome ad and we need Cliff Bristow himself here again as he was back in this thread... https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=81165 As many know also linked thread notes, ZL1 #54 was purchased by Cliff Bristow Motors and the Alum' 427 immediately yanked/swapped into their new '70 Rat Patrol Drag car then ZL1 #54 Body sold off w/ lesser BB. I have a bunch of cool Nova ads I've been meaning to post in this thread also a few pics. Just too much going on but I'll try to make it happen over the next few days. :beers: ~ Pete . |

Great stuff as usual Pete! Thanks for posting!

Wow, a dollar really used to buy something.

Man, I remember going through the Pittsburgh Press when I was a kid looking at the ads for the muscle cars back in the 70's. Unfortunately by the time I had worked and saved enough for my first car around 1983, prices had already started to rise and I just didn't have enough for something really cool.
