The seats are correct and original. There are 3 option levels on the interior. This car has the mid. Deluxe everything except seats.

That is so sweet, esp with the Cragars. What are the rear wheel/tire specs?
Mark the Wheels are 15x7 4" backspace 275/60/15 M&H racemaster Tires.
What are fronts? Any rub?
Thanks Mike, looks killer man, congrats.

I hear the guy that Mike got those KILLER Cragars from is gonna have some more soon. Several sizes, but all VERY NICE, some even MINT CONDITION. Man! That car looks GREAT! Way to go Mike!

There are 2 levels of interior in all 3 years - standard and deluxe. You could also add some interior accents via Z23. http://www.camaros.org/interior.shtm...pecialInterior The door panels are incorrect for the car - they only came with deluxe interiors. |
I agree with Kurt's opinion on the interior, standard or deluxe, no mid level seats or door panels.
Kurt are you stating that the door panels were not installed at the factory?
When the car came out of storage the interior was never out of the car. The door panels were removed for the first time when the car was stripped and repainted. There is another anomaly that no one has picked up on yet on the doors. You have to take into account when this car was built, The last day of 67 production. Only 1 owner and 5600 miles it was not messed with. |
That drivers seat has more than 5,600 miles.

This car has the 2) Z23 as indicated on the trim tag. |
Kurt S. was referring to the upholstery. The trim tag show standard so the seats are correct but the door panels have been changed to deluxe, so there's a mis-match. Z23 didn't include deluxe door panels.
Was the original owner a Norwood worker by chance?

I understand that the deluxe door panels had to have a different door regulator. Longer shank to fit the deluxe door panel. It is very hard if not impossible to use the regular door regulator on a deluxe door panel. If this correct then they had to swap them out for a correct fit.
I know of no difference (in 67) between regulators but the door release shaft is drilled and tapped for the lever. No horseshoe clip used on Deluxe door lever.
Mike, I meant red lines with the cragers.
Oh ok Guy ! I understand now. Lol
Fronts are BFG silvertown 6.70 x15 on the Ol school 15x4 Cragars. no rub at all.

I went up and looked at the car a few weeks ago, The door panels appear to be original
panels and anything is possible... The panels are original including the fenders, the pinch welds and spots are perfect and assembly line dated for the car, there is no pitting or thin edges. Really an extremely nice body with extremely nice fit and finish. |
Thanks for the kind words James I appreciate you coming up and looking at the car . It really is a great Car!
Thank you James for your opinion on the door panels.
