L78steve 04-27-2017 12:01 PM

The seats are correct and original. There are 3 option levels on the interior. This car has the mid. Deluxe everything except seats.
Its on the Trim Tag.

markinnaples 04-27-2017 06:01 PM

That is so sweet, esp with the Cragars. What are the rear wheel/tire specs?

mike1971 04-27-2017 06:37 PM

Mark the Wheels are 15x7 4" backspace 275/60/15 M&H racemaster Tires.

Crush 04-27-2017 06:42 PM

What are fronts? Any rub?

markinnaples 04-27-2017 07:44 PM

Thanks Mike, looks killer man, congrats.

DW31S 04-27-2017 08:46 PM

duskblue 04-27-2017 09:44 PM

mike1971 04-28-2017 01:41 PM

Its on the Trim Tag.

I would not agree with that summation.
There are 2 levels of interior in all 3 years - standard and deluxe. You could also add some interior accents via Z23.
http://www.camaros.org/interior.shtm...pecialInterior

The door panels are incorrect for the car - they only came with deluxe interiors.

bigsixman 05-07-2017 05:00 AM

I agree with Kurt's opinion on the interior, standard or deluxe, no mid level seats or door panels.

L78steve 05-08-2017 01:12 PM

Kurt are you stating that the door panels were not installed at the factory?
When the car came out of storage the interior was never out of the car. The door panels were removed for the first time when the car was stripped and repainted.
There is another anomaly that no one has picked up on yet on the doors.
You have to take into account when this car was built, The last day of 67 production. Only 1 owner and 5600 miles it was not messed with.

Astock 05-08-2017 02:09 PM

That drivers seat has more than 5,600 miles.

The 3 interior levels I'm referring to are 1)Base. 2)Z23 Interior decor Group. 3)Z87 Deluxe.
This car has the 2) Z23 as indicated on the trim tag.

Steve Shauger 05-08-2017 02:46 PM

Kurt S. was referring to the upholstery. The trim tag show standard so the seats are correct but the door panels have been changed to deluxe, so there's a mis-match. Z23 didn't include deluxe door panels.

cook_dw 05-08-2017 02:50 PM

Was the original owner a Norwood worker by chance?

I understand this now. I'm stating the car came from the factory with these panels. I was wrong when I stated Deluxe everything except seats.

westonz28rs 05-08-2017 04:30 PM

I understand that the deluxe door panels had to have a different door regulator. Longer shank to fit the deluxe door panel. It is very hard if not impossible to use the regular door regulator on a deluxe door panel. If this correct then they had to swap them out for a correct fit.

L78steve 05-08-2017 08:04 PM

I know of no difference (in 67) between regulators but the door release shaft is drilled and tapped for the lever. No horseshoe clip used on Deluxe door lever.

duskblue 05-08-2017 09:48 PM

Mike, I meant red lines with the cragers.

mike1971 05-10-2017 05:15 PM

Oh ok Guy ! I understand now. Lol

mike1971 05-19-2017 01:36 PM

Fronts are BFG silvertown 6.70 x15 on the Ol school 15x4 Cragars. no rub at all.

I have an 07C car and by the vin was most likely built the last day of production as well. It has 760-Z interior and the door panels are the correct, standard door panels.

firstgenaddict 07-11-2017 06:16 AM

I went up and looked at the car a few weeks ago, The door panels appear to be original
panels and anything is possible...
The panels are original including the fenders, the pinch welds and spots are perfect and assembly line dated for the car, there is no pitting or thin edges.
Really an extremely nice body with extremely nice fit and finish.

mike1971 07-11-2017 04:31 PM

Thanks for the kind words James I appreciate you coming up and looking at the car . It really is a great Car!

L78steve 07-12-2017 12:45 PM

Thank you James for your opinion on the door panels.
