Re: LS6
Only 5951 original miles.
Back story please, for those who don't know. |
Re: LS6
Please!

Re: LS6
"I've only driven it 200 ft", reminds me of the Fathom blue LS6 with 9k miles or so. Back in the '90s when Bill Bonham (sp?) owned the car he would only drive it backwards to his space at car shows. He didn't want to add any miles to the car.

Re: LS6
LOL...His upper back & neck was so sore from turning.
He would back it out of the trailer, then back it into his swap spot, the back it back into the trailer. He'd be upset @ this point,as he knew he had to pull it forward a few feet upon coming out of the trailer next time. If he still had that car today,it would be perched on 4 caster dollies. |
Re: LS6
Smoking the tires 150' of the 200'???

Re: LS6
Charlie any plans on putting back the white line Bias Ply tires on all 4 corners to match the spare tire?

The back story...... please!!

Re: LS6
I don't know the back story yet. Sometimes something is offered to you and you take the seller at his word. It seems to have worked out. Previous owner I'm told had it about 25 years when he sold it to a friend a couple weeks ago. I just laid eyes on it Sunday when I got back from Scottsdale.

Re: LS6
The story will include a lot of sitting:-)

Probably not. Probably do a burnout to make a friend cringe then set a LS engine next to it to make everybody cringe. |

Beautiful car, great color and super survivor. The dealership building appears to still be at 801 Front Street in Toledo.

Beautiful car Charlie! "So what's it like to drive an almost new LS-6?" I can answer that, based on this 4300 mile LS6 that is simply incredible, its like going back to Courtesy Chevrolet in TO in early 1970 and test driving a LS 6 right off the podium in front of the dealership, of course I'm not sure the dealership car had 4.10 gears with a rockcrusher. And yes thats original paint.

Another "WOW"!!! I'm betting the "two week" owner thought they really did something when they made a profit.........I wonder if they really knew what they had???
Great car! |

That is quite a car there, Charley. It could, and might be the best untouched LS6 to exist. Great score my friend!

Incredible car Charley. Glad to see it end up in the right hands! Thanks for sharing the photos.
I'm sure that you have plenty of room for the new addition, but in case you don't... I can't wait to see what car might be on it's way out to make room? |
