There were a bunch of cool drag cars at Maple Grove that year. Here is the first installment.
G. Hunter's 56 Bel Air with a blown 548 running on E85. He was running 8.60's at this time and won True Street at this event. He is a regular True Street competitor at Super Chevy Shows and he does Drag Week as well. Nice 66 Chevy II SS L79. It was featured in the December 2007 issue of Musclecar Review where the author stated it was a rare non SS L78 Nova. To my knowledge the L78 and L34 was only available with the SS package.
