Awesome Idea! How did you mount the wheel to the wall?

Easy, with Lug Nuts Dan |
Re: Show us your Sprints...Slots
Plasma cut a piece of HRS-3/8 to about 6-1/2" dia and added a 4-1/2" bolt circle to it and punched 5 holes that were a bit smaller then the knurled edge of a wheel stud. Pressed in the studs and welded a piece of 2-sch 40 to a piece of 3" flat bar. The flat bar length is almost the dia. of the rim (14 ") and screwed to a stud with a 3/8 lag bolt. Very secure and always at the right height. Easy to roll up and easy on the back.
Don't forget to add the correct lug nuts! BIG |
Re: Show us your Sprints...Slots
Thanks! I've got a couple of single mismatched wheels that will be perfect for that.

Are these Heavy cast with the grey area in a hammered look with a steel backed lug plate molded in with machined kidney lips and outer rim simulating mid 60's Magnesium wheels ? My wheel polisher in Ohio showed me a set of 15x7's that were quite Old </div></div> Although I said they were long gone I actually found them in the back behind the garage the other day.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...2-img_4648.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3-img_4649.jpg |
