I'll be there again with the GT-37. LOVE the fact it's a local event for me. A few other of the Chicago area Pure Stock guys are trying to make arrangements to attend also. And if the planets align, I may try to get the W-31 there too. but thats a big if.

I have been visiting with the folks at RT66 regarding the upcoming SCR/RT66 Classic, One of the things they mentioned, in order to accommodate everyone, they are wanting to get some idea of what we will have there.

Here is what I put together from various email. posts, etc. If your name needs to added, or removed for some reason, please contact either Rob or I. Tom,

I will also be bringing the Cortez Silver 1969 L78 Chevelle, for a good cause....to have two brothers race side by side. Bruce Arenson vs. John Arenson they both own 1969 Chevelles.

John Arenson, owns the BM Tribute Chevelle and brother Bruce Arenson owns the Cortez Silver L78 Chevelle. I would love to see a brother to brother, side by side race down the drag strip. Should be lots of fun!

May the Best Man/Chevelle win!

Yep..I believe Jim is bringing his Nova, his son a Camaro and a couple of friends ???

The race at SCR14 between Johnny in Kim's car and Jim in the Nova was worth the price of admission. Though tech had told both of them not to run quicker then 10.00, being the last race of the weekend, they both let it all hang out, running side by side the entire length of the track.

Only at the SCR.

Loaded up the Chevelle trunk with the slicks and requisite support tools last night as well.

Eric just finished Dad's carbs so if he gets them by Friday he will thrash Friday night to bring the 409 too.
