Thanks everyone for the compliments on the car...it came out exceptional as you can see. I just recieved some additional race pics from the previous owner where the front wheels are off the ground - doing 9.55 at Quaker City!

I really like RG cars too and since a non converted 9737 keeps the steelies w/ dog caps in place, the resulting combination is truly unique...and deadly!.

It’s a great rare Camaro and I am not saying anything negative about the car but I have to comment on this article.
I believe my information is being miss-represented in this article and magazine cover.
I believe there were more then 6 1968 396 COPO 9737 Camaros sold by Yenko.

I gave Tom B. the information about the six unconverted Yenko COPO 9737 cars.
This was from a small classified ad I found in some Yenko paperwork where the 5 Corvette Bronze and 1 Rally Green 396 car were for sale late in the year.

Hard to get exact numbers on the Yenko car production, but from what I can tell there were about 64 1968 427 cars built and some were not COPO 9737 cars and there were at least 70 COPO 9737 cars ordered (I believe more then 70) so there were probably some 396 COPO 9737 Camaros sold during the year other then the 5 Corvette Bronze and 1 Rally Green cars that were for sale at year end.

There is no way to know how many 396 COPO 9737 Camaros were sold by Yenko.
Most likely more then 6 were sold during the year.

Holy moly https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif ! 9.55 ! Quaker City (Salem OH) was just a town over from Canfield where I grew up. What was the mph on that run?

Ed - you need to get this beast out to the SCR! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
