OJ is simply misunderstood once again. He had no intention of "stealing" anything. He set up a sting to catch the guys that were planning the heist! He's pretty smart and learned a lot about police work during his trial.

If you doubt his intentions think about this; he missed his tee time at Lost Nachos Country Club where he was to continue the search for Nicole and Ron's real killers!!
The man's a model citizen.
